How are you? This is Jacky. We met on campus last Friday, and I was the one who complimented on your legs. Hope you still remember me. It was a short talk but I was impressed by your wisdom and composed attitude. It’s not easy to find that kind of quality in a girl who is only a junior. Let’s spend more time getting to know each other better. My schedule looks fine next Friday, same time after your class. If you don’t have an appointment at that time, let’s have some tea or coffee together. I know a restaurant which makes good bagels and coffee. I look forward to hearing from you.

Of course I remember you. And thanks for your compliment on my lower limb … that kind of compliment may get you anywhere…or nowhere, depending on the situation. You did a good job flattering girls. And you really don’t sound like a foreign student when speaking English… you have crafted your tone and vocabulary. I would also like to meet you again, too. Next Friday I will be able to meet you, but only if we do lunch together because in the afternoon, I have to go back home babysitting my cousin. Write me back if you will be ok having lunch together next Friday.

我當然記得你啊﹗謝謝你對我下盤的稱讚…那樣的讚美也許能讓你奔回本壘，但也有可能徒勞無功，完全要看情況而定。不過你真的蠻會稱讚女孩子的。還有，你講起英文來真不像是來自國外的留學生，因為你的語調和用字都非常恰當又老練。我也期待和你的再次碰面。下個星期我有時間和你見面，不過只有午餐的時間，因為下午我得趕回家照顧我的小表弟。如果你可以跟我吃午飯的話，就回信給我吧。
